Itinerary
Day 1
JULY-AUGUST 2007- The group will be met by their English speaking guide and private coach at the airport and transferred to the hotel for check in.
Day 2
JULY-AUGUST 2007- This Morning after breakfast the group will be met by their English speaking guide and private coach and will embark on a morning visit to the Kremlin and the Armoury museum.
The Kremlin is the walled fortress dating back to the 15th century.
We will visit themagnificent cathedrals topped by onion domes, and the
Governmentalbuildings located within the Kremlin walls.
The Armoury is one of the oldest and well known museums of Moscow established in 1808 and located in the Moscow Kremlin. The unique museum collection includes the imperial regalia of tsarist Russia, formidable collection of coronation dresses, carriages, and the largest collection of Fabergé eggs in the world.
This afternoon will be spent at leisure.
Day 3
JULY-AUGUST 2007 – This morning after breakfast in the hotel the group will be met by their English speaking guide and private coach and will be taken on a panoramic city tour of Moscow. The main points of interest during the tour are:
Red Square – with St Basil’s cathedral
Novodevichy convent
The Sports stadium at Luzhniki
A stop at Sparrow Hills for a panoramic view over the city of Moscow
Moscow State University
‘The Wedding Cakes’ – traditional examples of architecture from the Stalin era
The Cathedral of Christ the Saviour
The KGB headquarters at Lubyanka
Bolshoi Theatre
The remainder of the day will be spent at leisure.
Day 4
JULY-AUGUST 2007 – This morning after breakfast the group will check out of the hotel and will be transferred by private coach with English speaking guide to the Moscow airport for their return flight.

The 4-star Hotel Sovietsky is situated in a Stalin Empire style building close to the famous historical ‘Yar’ restaurant. The building, once exclusively for ‘party’ use – Margaret Thatcher was a guest here - retains its charm and sense of history, whilst offering modern bar and restaurant facilities (in summer there is an outside ‘shashlik’ restaurant). Thanks to the easy metro access, the visitors would be able to reach most of the sightseeing places of the city in 20-30 minutes

However, please note that I am not currently holding any rooms at the hotel; therefore, prices are subject to reconfirmation at the time of booking depending on hotel availability and the dates of travel.

Visa support documentation
In order to obtain a visa to visit Russia, you must provide Visa support documentation to accompany your application. This consists of an invitation letter from a registered company in Russia and a voucher detailing your accommodation in Russia.
